Lighten Up: Art with a Sense of Humor. A national juried group exhibition at the DeCordova Museum, February 3 – May 28, 2001. A catalogue was produced, and there were several press reviews. I participated in two gallery talks, and donated artworks to Lighten Up: the Benefit. SuperJEFFUMarket was well-received by audience and critics, and a number of pieces were sold by the Store @ DeCordova.
Magnetic North. Group exhibition at the collective-run Free Space Gallery, Fitchburg, MA, July 17 – Aug 15, 2003. I exhibited SuperJEFFUMarket Food Pyramid and other artworks.
Pittsburg State University Art Gallery. Juried solo exhibition at the Pittsburg State University Art Gallery, Feb 17 – Mar 6, 2003. I exhibited Food Pyramid and other artworks.
Plastic Fantastic. Juried group exhibition at the Art Institute of Chicago, May 2 – 18, 2003. I exhibited SuperJEFFUMarket Food Pyramid.
New Work by Communications Media and Art Faculty. The first Fitchburg State College faculty art exhibition in 15 years, Sep 18 – Oct 25, 2002. I exhibited SuperJEFFUMarket Food Pyramid and other artworks. In addition, I gave a gallery talk, and screened Il Spaghetti Occidentali (Spaghetti Western) for a live audience.
Davistown Museum. This museum in Maine purchased several artworks including SuperJEFFUMarket cans to display in their rotating collection.
The Apartment Show. Artist/Curator Zach Feuer turned his apartment into a gallery to exhibit art about, for, and in the home, Mar 20 – May 9, 1999. I exhibited several SuperJEFFUMarket cans stacked in the kitchen cupboards.
Trumbull Art Gallery Presents... Juried solo exhibition scheduled for Nov 1 – Dec 19, 2003. I will show selections from SuperJEFFUMarket and other artworks.
Contemporary Genre. Juried group exhibition curated by Jennifer Barrows Nov 13 – Dec 18, 2003, at the LH Horton Gallery in Stockton, CA. I exhibited a large version of SuperJEFFUMarket Food Pyramid.
150 x 150: Mad Dash 2001. The annual art sale & benefit for the Gallery @ Green Street, Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, September 2001. I donated and sold selected “canned goods.”
