SPUDNIK X-3

Crew: Alexandr Peelzov
Launched: Root Year 876, October 26
Mission: To launch a potatonaut into space.

Alexandr Peelzov boldly went where no Potato had gone before. After a flawless liftoff propelled by three pounds of soaked lima beans, Spudnik X-3 orbited the moon Watermelon. Peelzov experienced weightlessness, euphoria, and a profound sense of diminished importance for all Potatokind in the vastness of space and the current obsession over low-carb diets. After nine successful seedless orbits, he returned home.
