Two channel video sculpture with a short 1:30 loop. Audio & video created with analog synths (CHA/V & homegrown with oscillators). Some scanned woodcuts & custom AE effects. No AI. I am exploring analog video synthesis as a means of expanding the expressive possibilities in my performance video based artwork. In these works, I am ultimately exploring what it means to be human, and to be an artist: to struggle, to compromise, to maintain, to communicate, to think, to move in the world, to exist, to thrive, to delight and despair, to build and break, to think and react, to intellectualize and emote, to embrace and reject.
